The Bushwick House is a recently renovated house in Bushwick, Brooklyn. When we were looking for a new place, we thought about finding a great location that is still affordable and fun. The tree-lined streets are a great addition to the neighborhood. We named the house the Bushwick House because although we have houses in Bushwick, this one is right in the heart the neighborhood. The house reflects the neighborhood by incorporating wood into the design: wooden floors, furniture, beds and closets, all made with wood to make the house feel chic and warm. This coliving space has 17 rooms, including three kitchens, and if you take a trip downstairs you’ll find a living room and co-working space, both of which are massive in comparison to your average New York apartment.

Outpost Club is more than just a place to live and work. We’ve created a coliving community that offers both general and professional networking, giving you the opportunity to build relationships with people from all over the world with a variety of backgrounds and expertises. In addition to designing our spaces to make living together a breeze, we offer multiple events a month to help you get to know the entire Outpost Club community, whether at a movie night or while kayaking on the East River.

The kitchens/dinning rooms are the heart of the house, and for good reason. The kitchens have dining-room tables large enough to seat up to eight people. The spaces are used for potluck dinners, solo meals and chats in the evening over a glass of wine. But these aren’t the only common areas. The living room has a large L-shaped couch and a 55-inch TV (with Netflix!); this is where we host movie nights, game nights and chill hangouts. The space is equipped with everything you need to relax. The coworking space is equipped with everything you need to work! The room comfortably holds up four people working simultaneously. There's lots of desk space to make sure your work time is productive. Additionally, all common spaces throughout the house can be used to work. Our members are either out at work or working from home, so the house remains quiet during the day. We even have a backyard! This space has tables and chairs so can work outside in the spring, summer and autumn. This space holds many parties, get-togethers, barbecues and celebrations. You need to go through a member’s room to go out there, but as long as you get permission, you are free to use it.

Neighbourhood

Bushwick, New York City, United States

Rich in its own history, Bushwick is home to many brownstones, mansions, and projects alike. Shopping can be done on Knickerbocker Avenue, whether for clothes, appliances, or food. The newly restored Maria Hernandez Park on Knickerbocker Ave and Suydam St is a nice spot to bring the kids and relax in the shade of the trees.

Located right in the heart of Bushwick, this coliving space is in the most up-and-coming neighborhood of Brooklyn. The Bushwick House is a 10-minute walk to the JMZ trains on Halsey Street and a 10-minute walk to the L train at Myrtle Avenue-Wyckoff Avenue. The location is near coffee shops, artisanal pizza joints, supermarkets, delis and bars.
